Under Armour has tapped actor Dwayne Johnson to be the new face of the sports apparel brand.

The "Ballers" star will collaborate with the label to create a range of products including footwear, apparel and accessories.

Likewise, the brand will develop capsule collections inspired by Johnson's films and projects, like the Rock-inspired backpack and duffle pack which is set to launch at their online shop.

The overall campaign will be inspired by the actor and former WWE wrestler's lifestyle and fitness regime.

Johnson joins other elite athletes in fronting the Under Armour label including Stephen Curry, Tom Brady, Misty Copeland, Lindsey Vonn, Andy Murray and Michael Phelps.
