How would martial arts legend Bruce Lee fare if he were part of today's MMA scene? That's the question that "EA Sports UFC" seeks to answer this year.

The UFC's Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis, and President Dana White have nothing but words of admiration for the renowned martial artist and film star, with White saying that "the sport of mixed martial arts was started by Bruce Lee."

Why build him up, when Lee does not form part of a 100-member roster that ships as standard with the PS4 and Xbox One game?

The answer is that complimentary access to a division-spanning Bruce Lee character is being offered as a pre-order incentive for EA's first crack at the UFC license.

The company has history with mixed martial arts, having developed 2010's "EA Sports MMA" before coming to an agreement with White's UFC for this year's debut on a new generation of consoles.
