ASIF Kapadia has teamed up with Martin Scorsese to produce his next movie. And this time, it's not a documentary, as this fictional tale follows the story of the famous British car maker, Rolls-Royce.

"Silver Ghost" will focus on the firm's beginnings in the early 20th century, after aristocratic engineer Charles Rolls met Henry Royce, a man from a humble background who had designed and built his own car.

United through their love of cars -- a sector still in its fledgling days -- this unlikely duo came together to create the prestigious luxury car brand Rolls-Royce. The movie's title, "Silver Ghost," refers to one of the firm's star models. With its aluminum body and silver accessories, this legendary car helped the firm establish a sound reputation among wealthy clients in 1907.

This Rolls-Royce story will be Asif Kapadia's fourth feature film, after "Warrior" (2001), "The Return" (2006) and "Far North" (2007). However, the British filmmaker is best known for his documentaries on Ayrton Senna ("Senna," 2010) and Amy Winehouse ("Amy," 2015). "Amy" is a favorite to win Best Documentary at the 2016 Oscars.

"Silver Ghost" is one of several car-themed movies currently under production in Hollywood. Michael Mann is working on an Enzo Ferrari biopic, which has been delayed after Christian Bale pulled out of the project. The story of Ferruccio Lamborghini will also be coming to the big screen in the next few years.
