With polling day less than two weeks away, DAP continues to be hit with problems, when 20 members on Monday declared their support for Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 13th general election.

Led by state DAP Wanita deputy chief K. Sarojadevi, who declared leaving the party recently, they will also campaign and vote for BN candidates.

Sarojadevi told a press conference at a restaurant, here, that their action was to state their unhappiness and disappointment at the DAP leadership which she claimed was insincere in their struggle.

She also referred to the DAP central executive committee election debacle which she said was a big embarrassment to the party.

She said their support for BN was also because it promised many benefits for the Indian community through its general election manifesto, compared to the opposition manifesto which did not have anything for the community.
