Two exco members were missing from the list of candidates for the 13th General Election (GE13) released by the Selangor Pakatan Rakyat.

The list which contained a blend of new and old faces saw the absence of Teresa Kok who was Investment, Industry & Trade committee chairman and state assemblywoman for Kinrara and Ronnie Liu who was state exco in charge of local government and also the current assemblyman for the Pandamaran state seat.

Teresa Kok's seat was filled by Ng Sze Han while Pandamaran would be contested by Tan Pok Shyong, both from DAP.

In the list, apart from Ng and Tan, DAP introduced a number of new faces, namely Tiew Way Keng (Teratai), R. Rajiv (Bukit Gasing), Ng Tien Chee (Balakong), Yeo Bee Yin (Damansara Utama), V. Ganabatirau (Kota Alam Shah) and Loh Chee Heng (Teluk Datuk).

PKR's new faces in the list for state assembly seats were Borhan Aman Shah (Dengkil), Lee Chin Cheh (Kajang), Dr Daroyah Alwi (Sementa), Hamidi A Hassan (Semenyih), Tengku Maraziyah Tengku Sulaiman (Kuang), K. Ramachandran (Batang Kali) and Dr Idris Ahmad (Ijok).

PAS included Dr Halimah Ali (Selat Klang), Iskandar Abdul Samad (Chempaka), Saari Sungib (Hulu Klang), Khasim Abdul Aziz (Lembah Jaya), Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi (Sijangkang) and Dr Abd Rani Osman (Meru) while Gombak Setia which was won by Dr Hasan Mohamed Ali (later sacked by PAS) was filled by Hasbullah Mohd Ridzwan.

For parliament seats, Pakatan Rakyat named Dr Ong Kian Ming (DAP) for Serdang, Mohd Rafizi Ramli (PKR) Pandan, G. Manivanam (PKR) Kapar, Dr Abdul Aziz Bari (PKR) Sabak Bernam, Mohamad Rashdi Deraman (PAS) Tanjung Karang, Mohamed Salleh M. Husin (PAS) Sungai Besar and Khalid Jaafar (PKR) Hulu Selangor.
