Malindo Air will be moving its operations to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport's (KLIA) main terminal from klia2 beginning March 15, 2016.

In a statement on Friday, Malindo Air said all its flights to and from Kuala Lumpur from March 15 onwards would be departing from and arriving at the KLIA's main terminal.

"Our customers are urged to make the necessary transportation and meeting point arrangements accordingly.

"The ATR72-600 turbo-prop operations from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang (LTSAAS – Subang Skypark), however, will not be affected by the relocation," the airline said.

Its Chief Executive Officer, Chandran Rama Muthy said Malindo Air was looking forward to relocating from klia2 to KLIA.

"We hope to contribute positively to the nation's aviation and tourism industries and boost Malaysia's economic growth in the long-term," he added.

Meanwhile, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd Managing Director Datuk Badlisham Ghazali said as Malindo Air evolved its business model from a hybrid to a full-service airline, there would be many premium services available at the KLIA main terminal.

"Malaysia Airports is pleased to facilitate Malindo Air’s change in business requirements," he said.
