The East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) is providing accounting management training to young entrepreneurs in an effort to help them improve their business performance.

Empower ECER- Malaysia Social Development Organisation (PKSM) programme director, Surain Kanda said the programme would also help young entrepreneurs glean knowledge on business management.

"Apart from accounting management, the programme also provides an opportunity for the participants to build a network with relevant agencies including Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA).

"It is also part of our effort to produce entrepreneurs who are willing to step out of their comfort zone and to provide exposure on the importance of communication in business," he said.

He said this after the Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Social Entrepreneur programme which was attended by 53 participants here today.

Surain said it is important for entrepreneurs to always equip themselves with the necessary knowledge such as business and accounting management.
