Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) has clarified that it has not created an "Entrepreneurs Fund", offering between RM200,000 and RM400,000 to selected entrepreneurs.

It said this in response to a viral message that the bank is offering the Dana Infaq and Solid Cash funds.

"The message is false. BSN has never offered such funds or any similar types to customers," it said in a statement today.

BSN also lodged a report with the authorities on March 1 in respect of the fake news.

The bank has urged customers to verify any information they receive and to be wary of any calls, short message services (SMS) and emails claiming to be from it.

For further information, customers may contact the BSN Customer Service Centre at 1300 88 1900 or visit www.mybsn.com.my.
