The International Construction Week 2014 (ICW2014) is back!

Dubbed as the largest building and construction event, ICW2014 will feature a full spectrum of construction industry players across Malaysia and Southeast Asia under one roof to showcase the best practices and innovative ideas in construction.

ICW2014 is held in cooperation with Ecobuild Southeast Asia 2014 for three days from Sept 17 -19 at Putra World Centre (PWTC).

Hosted by Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), the event will run concurrently with co-located events such as Greenbuild Asia, Eco Light Asia, Solar Asia Expo, ASEAN REI 2014, Construction Showcase and the Malaysian International IBS Exhibition (MIIE).

Ecobuild Southeast Asia is exclusively tailored to provide the platform for exhibitors and participants to strengthen business ties, network and acquire up-to-date information from building and construction ecosystem.

“This year, we are proud to introduce Ecobuild Southeast Asia as the major component of ICW2014. Ecobuild Southeast Asia will incorporate several industry showcase including Green Build Asia, Construction Showcase, Eco Light Asia, Solar Asia, ASEAN REI 2014 and MIIE -- in an integrated show floor -- specially designed to cover the construction industry spectrum,” said Chief Executive Construction Industry Development Board Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Judin Abdul Karim.

Ecobuild is the world's biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment. The Southeast Asia edition -- combined with other shows are expected to present the most innovative sustainable projects from across the industry.

“I encourage industry players to join us and make use of this platform to explore business opportunities and exchange insights about sustainability in the construction with all the industry professionals across the region,” said Judin in a media statement.

ICW2014 will feature 300 exhibitors from 24 countries including United Kingdom, China, Singapore and South Korea.

Currently in its 13th installment, the programme is expected to attract 10,000 industry professionals comprising architects, building consultant, contractors, developers and engineers.

A total of 65 seminars and conferences by industry regulators, authorities, associations, government agencies and exhibitors will be held during the exhibition.

The programme will highlight industry movers and enablers such as Ministry of Works Malaysia, Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia (KeTTHA), Malaysian Industry – Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), Energy Commission, ROCKWOOL Group, Saint-Gobain AAC, Malaysia Nuclear Power Corporation, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysia Master Builders Association and more.
