Die-hard Hobbit and Lord of the Rings fans are invited to enter a contest for their chance to win a trip traveling throughout New Zealand -- otherwise known as Sir Peter Jackson’s Middle-earth -- and attend a private screening of the movie with the filmmaker himself.

Announced at Comic-Con International in San Diego over the weekend, the contest is a partnership between Tourism New Zealand, Air New Zealand and Jackson to help promote the final installment of "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" set for an international release December 17.

Though exact details are scarce now, the contest will award 75 winners and their travel companions with the chance to fly out to New Zealand and visit some of the movie’s filmscapes including a visit to Hobbiton, the movie set at the heart of both “The Lord of the Rings,” and “The Hobbit” trilogies.

Hobbiton is located on a working sheep farm near the town of Matamata in the Waikato region, and is home to 44 Hobbit homes.

The journey ends with a private screening of the film with Jackson in his hometown of Wellington, or “Wellywood,” where the filmmaker is based.
