Indonesia's Disaster Victim Identification Police Department (DVI POLRI) team has identified the remains of one more victim of crashed Indonesia AirAsia Flight QZ8501 as Cindy Clarissa Soetjipto.

AirAsia stated in its updated statement, here, Thursday said that AirAsia Indonesia officially handed over the passenger's remains to her family, Thursday afternoon.

To date, 39 out of the 50 bodies found have been identified, with nine more still being identified.

The statement also stated that the search and rescue (SAR) operations led by BASARNAS (National Search and Rescue Agency of Indonesia) resumed in the primary search area today.

SAR vessels, helicopters and sea divers were mobilised around the primary focus area to observe the seafloor prior to the passengers and wreckage recovery as it was suspected that more passengers were likely trapped under the wreckage.

However, there had been no additional recoveries reported today, the statement said.

AirAsia Indonesia Flight QZ8501 crashed on Dec 28 with 155 passengers and seven crew members on board while en route to Singapore from Surabaya, Indonesia.

They comprised 155 Indonesians, three South Koreans, a Singaporean, a Malaysian, a Briton and a French.
